The last book of the Holy Bible, "the revelation of Jesus Christ," has as its author "his servant John" the disciple who was exiled to the Greek island of Patmos because of his faith, and is traditionally identified with the author of the fourth Gospel.

Paule Amblard nous offre une interprétation cohérente de L’Apocalypse de Jean par la nécessité de l’évolution spirituelle de l’homme. Les fléaux épouvantables qui traversent le texte de L’Apocalypse sont, en vérité, les tourments de l’âme humaine séparée de ce qui la fonde.
