Walter Erickson

Matt Doyle, ex-homicide detective was blinded in an unexpected shooting. In order to make a living Matt and his wife opened a detective agency that traces missing witnesses. This story begins with the death of a society woman by a serial killer. A serial killer who slashes the throats of prostitutes and his signature is a plastic spider.

Matt is the narrator and tells the story from his POV. There is a lot of information given on how the blind function and how they see their memories. Interesting. But it does slow the narrative down. The story was also a little unemotional though the author tried to indicate otherwise. A solid read, well written, but a little slow and almost at times uninteresting.… (altro)
