806. Georgetown University: First in the Nation's Capital by Joseph T. Durkin, S.J. (read 3 June 1965) This book does an adequate job telling the very interesting history of Georgetown University. The book was given to me by Stan Griegg, who in 1964 was elected to the House of Representatives from Iowa. He knew I had gone to Georgetown Law and when this book came into his possession he graciously sent it to me
Life of Gen. Wm. T. Sherman's son who became a Jesuit --at one point a noted travelling preacher, but unfortunately became insane, though he died in the kindly care of other Catholic religous.. This is told fairly sympathetically by a modern Jesuit writer.
