In Widmer, Minnesota, a woman is found murdered in her lakeside home. Ray Schiller investigates the many suspects who could profit from her death.
This book has been in my TBR pile for months. It was fast paced with many intertwining plots. The mystery was great. I did not see it coming. Even though it was a surprise, it made perfect sense when it was all laid out.
I will be getting more of this series. It has good character development, as well as plot movement. I will normally skim a little, but this book completely kept my interest.
I am looking forward to following Rays career and cases . In fact going to purchase next book right now. Sorry for typos, writing a review on the fire can be tedious.

An enjoyable and easy to read mystery. Though I would have preferred to have less of the personal side of the detectives in the story.
