In essence this book is devoted to a discussion of 10 problems and solutions and suggestions which the author has found effective. Absence of romantic love in my marriage, In-law conflict, Low self-esteem, problems with the children, financial difficulties, Loneliness, isolation, sexual problems in marriage, ftigue & time pressure, aging etc.

Really enjoyed this one. Nothing super unique, but I found it uniquely encouraging compared to a lot of other parenting books I’ve read lately. I appreciate that Dr. Dobson actually acknowledges that children can have vastly different personalities and that even very good parents can have some children with much more difficult behaviour than others who are not as diligent in their character training or discipline. It’s helped me to relax a bit.

This book is to every person who has been rejected and wounded by a husband of wife on whom everything depended. Praying that there words will begin the healing process and provide a basis for genuine forgiveness to thrive. For only in forgiveness can peace be found.

Dobson offers advice for raising boys and girls along with offering a prepared game plan for child rearing that will help parents understand their kids and know how to handle everyday challenges as they arise.
