I love to read anything to do with Merlin and having Merlin in the modern day world was just too good to resist. We start off by meeting Jason who is an archeology student in England although he is American. He seemed a great guy all in all and took all of the things that happened to him once Merlin appears in his stride, I am not sure many people would do as well as him with all of the shocking news he is told.

Merlin needs no description at all, he is a legend. He did seem a bit dithery at times but being stuck in an orb for 1,600 years there is no wonder. With this said though he is absolutely great, he knows that he must stop Morgana and he sets about doing that as quickly as he can with the help of Jason.

During their dangerous adventure to Mongolia they both have near death experiences along the way but they also meet some very nice people who are willing to help them. And a book with Merlin involved wouldn’t be complete without a dragon’s appearance.


I really enjoyed reading Revelations, and I think it was a perfect name for the book. For anyone that loves fantasy books they will love this.… (altro)

I'm a massive history fan, particularly British history, but I often find that history books can be a bit dry and too detailed for the armchair enthusiast.

This one is the opposite - well written stories about former prisoners of the Tower of London which includes Queens, Traitors, Spies and many more.

I loved the fact that it concentrated on the lives of the people who spent time in it's confines rather than the history of the Tower itself and that it included interesting background details for each of the prisoners without just being a list of names and dates

Well worth 5 stars… (altro)
