121 Prints over 240 pages present clear images of early 19th Century life in southern Quebec. Plates 9 to 28 are from "Canadian Scenery", 1839-1842, by W.H. Bartlett for whom a fuller record is available online in the Documentary Art section of ArchiviaNet. The last dozen plates include portraits, historical china and early bank notes.
