- Breve biografia
- Patrice de La Tour du Pin was a direct descendant of the Protestant leader René de La Tour du Pin Gouvernet, marquis de La Charce. By the age of nineteen, he had published his poetry collection Quête de joie (Joyous Quest, 1933). Other works included L'Enfer (1935) and Le Lucernaire (1936). During World War II he was a prisoner of war in Germany for three years. He continued to write poetry during this time. Upon his return to France after the war, he married his cousin Anne de Bernis, and he continued to write. Among his efforts were a new translation of the Bible into French and music for the Roman Catholic liturgy.
