I'm a teacher in a secondary school for pupils with social, emotional and behavioural problems and I was looking for a book which might give me new ideas on how to work with them or understand more about them. This was the right book at the right time. I also imagine it would be a useful book as an academic resource.

There are 15 chapters, split into 4 sections (which if you're looking at this review via Amazon you can see using the look inside feature). I like the fact that the chapters are about a range of education settings: mainstream, special, primary and secondary as well as focussing on many different counselling and therapeutic applications.

Not challenging to read and with references at the end of each chapter should you wish to persue the topic matter further. An interesting and informative read that has proven useful to me.… (altro)
