Paul Danove book on Semantic Roles & Lexicon in the Gospel of Mark is an important contribution to both Greek syntactic studies as well as Greek lexicography, but it is not the last word. There is much to be done in this area. In particular, work must be done much more broadly across a significantly larger corpus of Hellenistic Greek, preferably a corpus of at least 200,000-300,000 words.
