From the 1932 book we now have Georgiana Darcy and Sheriff Fitzwilliam's tale. A lovely written novella which I really enjoyed. It is not necessary to have read 1932 but it does add to the enjoyment.

A modern version of Emma set in 1970s America. Not a great fan of modern day versions but I did like this. Well-written with interesting characters, especially George Knightly, which kept me reading until the end.
An enjoyable variation.

In this modern (1980s) variation of Persuasion James Marshall and Laurel Elliot have a summer romance. But circumstances keep them apart. Years later can there be any hope for them
Some likeable characters and a good well-written story which works really well considering what must be the difficulty of updating Persuasion.

In this Pride and Prejudice variation, actions by the prideful Darcy result in unhappiness for four people. The story begins five years after the visit to Kent of Darcy, the Colonel and Elizabeth Bennet.
An entertaining and enjoyable short story.
