Walker is a prissy, stuck up, rich jerk who has a lot of crap dealt to him. Beckett is a bouncer who saves Walker after getting beat up. Walker is afraid of being hurt again, so he hires Beckett as his bodyguard. Of course more threats come and there is a lot of drama, but Walker and Beckett get closer through it all.

I liked the story, even though I figured out pretty early on part of the mystery of who the bad guy was. Walker’s cockiness and bad attitude was a bit off putting in the beginning, and there was a lot of banter between the two guys that seemed over the top. It did seem weird at times that Walker was such a cocky jerk when he was clearly trying to ignore that part of him and get away from all of the troubles he had in his past. I did like Beckett as a character, though, and I thought he was a good match for Walker. I liked the side characters of Carter, Rusty, and Bertie.

I was really glad to see Carter as we start the book. I liked him from the last book. He was really mysterious, but also seemed like a great guy. We find out that Larry hired Carter as a bodyguard for his son, Brice. This book takes place about a year later. Carter is still his prickly, closed off self, and Brice is annoyed with having someone around. There wasn't much indication (well to me anyway) that there was any sexual tension between them over the past year, but it seemed that all of a sudden there was a bunch between them. One taste just isn't enough, and once they broke the dam of need, they couldn't stay away. I really liked seeing Carter open up and realize that he was worthy of having someone with him, and Brice was a great match for him. There was a lot of action in the last third of the book, and I have to admit that I didn't see it coming the way it played out. Book 3 should be really interesting. I can't wait to see how that all turns out!!

Tony has gone on several dates using Valentine's Inc, but he has had horrible luck. After finding out that Tony is really gruff and clueless about dating and wanting successful customer service reviews, Witt decides to coach him in dating. Spending time together, the guys find they really connect. This is a short story, so there isn't a lot of room for significant character and plot development, but the author did a great job bringing these two guys together with me rooting for Tony all the way. This was super sweet with a great set of characters and an AWESOME second grandmother.

Super short, but super cute. Sterling has a secret admirer. He doesn’t think he has time for it, but some things are worth finding the time for.
