I've not read all of the Red Flame series. Sadly, I did not get them when they came out and they are hideously expensive now. However, the ones I have read are still worth it. Unlike other volumes I have read, this one is more of a workbook. The notes and commentary on each hexagram which is culled from Crowley's extensive studies make it the kind of work one will return to again and again. The introductory essay by Marlene has an apparent tendency to dwell on the mythical history (& how Crowley was in error for believing what everyone else believed about the history of the I Ching), which I found less that useful, however its discussion of the significance of the I Ching to Crowley's students was fascinating in and of itself. I especially appreciated her inclusion of CF Russell's notes, even though I also own his works on the I Ching.… (altro)
