The book is just about the Desert Shield and Desert Storm operations, there's nothing detailed about the writer's military career.
Is interesting if just to take a look at the first time Americans and Frenchs fought together since WWII, and there's some French quirks really word reading.
As a bad thing I've found it too politically correct, no way they were all that correct and amiable.
