AGH, this story was like getting a forkful of your favorite food then having the rest taken away from you. I got so into the characters of Trey and Crawford that when the story ended it was such a let down. The writing was great and the story had the feel of the beginning of a series. Why was Trey a werewolf for only one month not that his being a were really came into play. Why was Crawford working for a sorcerer but not using his abilities. I would give this book five stars if I knew there was a sequel coming. Way too many loose ends hanging if this is all we are going to get of Trey and Crawford. I'd put this book off until I had the sequel.… (altro)

Contemporary romance today often tends to lend itself to the over-the top. Whether it’s heart-rending tragedy, obsessive desire or acrobatic sex; so many stories get caught up with the fantastic that I seldom really identify with the characters. Dancing Away is a fantastic read but it’s because of its ‘averageness’. Cole and Merit could be any of us. Secret crushes, first heartbreaks, bullies and self-doubt are familiar memories for many and this story will bring it all back. I loved the characters. They’re real people. Cole hurts Merit and he isn’t suddenly forgiven. They don’t meet again and, suddenly, all is well. It wasn’t a stretch to believe this journey. There are incredibly poignant and touching moments. My favorite is Cole’s surprise for Merit at the dance studio. In many ways this is a very sweet romance. Of course, the hot sex doesn’t hurt either. I really did enjoy this story and will look for more by this author.

2 stars. Those werewolves really did like to talk! Way too much about the pack (to me, anyways). I liked Kyle, but didn't really like Tobias at all.

Possible spoiler but... poor Kyle almost gets killed, turns into a werewolf (after 3 days of being unconscious) and everyone jumps down his throat about the rules of being a member of the pack. Give the man a breather! He had no time to really digest what even happened to him!

I did love the idea of a vegan werewolf though. :)… (altro)
