The Trial and Death of Jesus di Haim Cohn
Cohen is well qualified to comment on the law at the time of the crucifixion, and earlier. His arguments are persuasive and his conclusion is mind boggling for evangelicals, but I found that it unravelled some knots about the arrest of Jesus. An important work.
