Probably the best book I've read about America's Vietnam war. It's very much a view from the command perspective, and often reads like office politics, but it covers how the war was conducted better than any other book I've read on the subject.

Devers, and its two major components: the American 7th Army – under General Alexander M. Patch –, and the French First Army – under General Jean de Lattre de Tassigny.
