I have learned 10 foreign languages, and I don't like the way this book teaches. It is more helpful to be given the paradigm charts to memorize than to assume students can intuit it from many examples. Furthermore, beginning students don't know any Hebrew yet, so they can't understand explanations which are written in Hebrew. I found a Modern Hebrew Grammar to supplement the inadequate lessons of this book, which was the required text for my graduate level class in Modern Hebrew.
