I enjoyed this retelling of the well known Aesop's fable but the wonderful illustrations set this book apart from the others.

This story is about a bear who has a secret. All the animals in the forest are trying o guess. Some begin to speculate she doesn't even have one. At the end of the book it's clean that her secret was she was going to have a cub, I think this book is good for families who may be expecting to help the other children see the excitement in a new baby as well as maybe relating to a science unit. I loved the illustrations.
