A deadly mission di Judith Campbell
It kept my interest and I'd read more of Ms. Campbell's books, in spite of the fact some she sometimes spends too much time perfecting her sentences to make them interesting. The main character is a college chaplain and professor, she has a good friend who is a priest, a son, and a daughter whom she gave up for adoption many years ago and would like to connect with. One of her students gets involved with a cult, which does good work with the homeless, but also has hidden not so good people in its upper echelons.… (altro)
½A quick, thoroughly enjoyable, read. I lived in Boston, and even ended up inside some religious cult house one afternoon, and found it creepy and a little alarming, like this book.
