The story of Kurt Cobain was very interesting, but the sentences warning about the problem of drugs and what the drugs were seemed like something for a children's biography, not a teen biography, since they were so simple.I think those few sentences in the book might just irritate the teens.

I liked Taylor Swift: Music Superstar by Jeff Burlingame for two reasons. First, I liked how Burlingame included a section about Taylor Swift before her fame. Most people know Swift for her fame, but few individuals know about her life before she became a well-known singer. I thought it was interesting how Swift’s grandmother was an opera singer, and her first inspiration. Second, I liked the photographs in the book. The photographs capture Swift’s natural beauty as well as her relationships with family, other celebrities, and fans. Overall, the “big idea” of Taylor Swift: Music Superstar is to inform readers about Taylor Swift’s life and career.… (altro)
