The Night Shift: A Novel di Natalka Burian
I really enjoyed this. The story is a little different, and I liked the main character. I like the world that she built for herself. I would have given this 5 stars but the ending was a bit too short for me, a bit too easy. Too much of a happy ever after.

This book reminds readers that, while intriguing, exciting, and also just practically convenient, a human created break in the space/time continuum is ultimately a really bad idea. The protagonist is flawed but likable; her relationship with trauma in her past, as well as her present relationship with her body, are the most intriguing parts of the story. Recommended for all libraries, including reluctant fantasy readers such as myself.… (altro)
