Oh, Cats! (My First I Can Read) di Nola Buck
This book is ideal for children learning to read. It uses simple sentences with simple words so that the reader can read as many words as possible. The illustrations are simple, as to not cause a distraction for the emerging readers, but they go along with the story nicely to aid the reader in understanding the story. The story is fun and playful and, overall, this was a very pleasant read.

I liked that the author's first name was Nola.
This was an adorable story about a little girl who is excited about everything she can do and she is telling it all to her baby brother. The story was fast-paced and a delight to read. The rhymes were cute and the illustrations paired very nicely with the story and provided a positive, fun-loving atmosphere. The story concludes with the little girl getting into bed and she says that she can't wait to teach all of these things to her little brother when he gets older.… (altro)

“Christmas in the Manger” by Nola Buck and Felicia Bond uses an easy rhyming scheme to keep children’s attention. It also includes bold crisp illustrations that clearly focus on the topic of each two page set. Each turn of the page includes a verse about a nativity character, finishing with the baby Jesus. This one veers on the younger side and is perfect for babies and toddlers but maxes out the interest level at about 3 years old.
