This was a cute bilingual book about the southwest. I️ enjoyed using in my southwest story box.

This is a very pretty book. It tells of an adobe house and the family that lives there. The illustrations are of the Sonoran desert. The house looks like a Navajo Hogan, but the book is not specific about it. It would be a good book to give to children who do not live in the desert to give them an idea of what it is like.

This is a great storybook to use with students practicing Spanish as it is bilingual.

Personal Response:

This book is a reminder of the simple things in life - home, family, and love. I felt very peaceful as I read it and enjoyed the beautiful pictures.
