Tristan is the next in line to become King and it is something he hasn’t exactly been looking forward to so he acts out and rebels in any way he can. Not only is he to become King he is also expected to be married and his future Queen has been picked for him and to say he is not too thrilled would be an understatement, he knows it’s his duty but he is also wishing for something deep or like love. This is where we are introduced to Amelia she has been groomed her whole life to be prepared to become the future Queen she is nervous, afraid of failure, and wonders what Tristan will think of her but this all stops when they meet and immediately have an instant attraction. They are introduced to the public as engaged and then swept away to Tristan’s home in the country to get to know each other better and this is pretty much the whole book them figuring each other out, falling in love, and spending the next 6 months learning one another. This is book 1 so there will be a book 2 and this book doesn’t end on a cliffhanger it actually ends on a high note of them on honeymoon, but with Tristan wondering if the stress of their lifestyle make them last or will something come in between them. I really enjoyed this read, it was sweet and simple spending time learning more about Tris and Lia.… (altro)

I love this community, the firefighters, emts, family, and so on. Each book has its own magic of romance and emotions, but Cameron was everything. After his ex-wife leaves him and their daughter he struggles with his own emotions, but one thing that is never questioned is how amazing of a father he truly is. He loves his daughter with all he is, and once Natalie walked into the picture helping and being the amazing woman she is he is attracted. Cam knows she is off limits for many reasons the main one being he is best friends with her brother, but sometime fate must step in to show you the way. Natalie is such an amazing person always putting others above herself, but when enough is enough she doesn’t hesitate to stand up for herself and what she wants. Cam and Natalie are perfect for each other, but will they figure that out before it’s too late? This small-town romance gives you all the happy feelings and romance with the bonds they all share. I can’t wait to see what is in store for Chance’s story and Gauge because he has a lot of healing left to do.… (altro)

I finished this book in one day, because once I started it I couldn't put it down! There's a great, unique family dynamic in this book. While this is the story of the main characters William Walker Jr. "Liam" and single mother Denise Cunningham, it's actually about the whole family/Club. Throughout the book Denise struggles with making sure her 13 year old twins have what they need and getting caught up in circumstances she's been dealt. Denise starts out knowing what the "Club" does is wrong 100% but as she falls in love with Liam, the line between right and wrong blurs. The Club gives Denise and her kids the family and security that they'd been lacking for a very long time. Liam is a very charming guy, who quickly takes on a protector role to Denise and her twins. Before he knows it, he's in love with them all and protecting them at all costs. I won't give anything away, but I think by the end you can definitely see that though Denise is starting to accept what Liam does, it's Liam who starts to question what he's doing. I imagine this will be the main plot theme of the series. The struggle the Club has between what's too far over the line.

What I most enjoyed about the book is how interwoven the secondary characters were mixed in. I've read a lot of books over the years and sometimes when you read a series it feels like the characters to future and previous books are thrown in for cameos to make it connected. That's not the case here. All the characters you meet are interwoven deeply into the story, it's as much about them as it is about Liam and Denise. To me I feel like secondary characters Tyler and Meredith (who are the main characters for the next book) stole the show and I can't wait for their book!

I do have to warn folks, there is violence and crime in this book. There is also a very graphic scene in the book that could disturb some, but it's necessary to the story. It shows just how gritty and brutal of a world the Club has put themselves in.

I just knew this book would be an emotional rollercoaster because on one hand we have Nick who is struggling with reconciling his past and future and he also deems himself not worthy of love in any form especially from Kelsey. On the other hand, we have Kelsey who is struggling with her love for Nick and whether she can handle being nothing more to him than a friend. They both love each other but they both also have things that are keeping them apart. Nick broke my heart so much because of all the things he endured when he was young was so brutal and yet his adoptive family were so loving he just struggled so much with what he thought he deserved and what others around him knew he deserved. Kelsey was loyal and had an undying love for Nick that she would do anything for him, and she proves that time and time again. So, she helps him with one more thing and this ends up being a game changer for them as a couple and it was beautiful. I absolutely loved this book and the love they both found.… (altro)
