As a children's book, it is entertaining, but I doubt that children of the age for which this book is intended have actually already read The Three Musketeers.

I thought it was a good introduction to the characters from Three Musketeers classic. My kids are getting close to being able to read chapter books and this is definitely going to be one that I will strongly encourage them to read.

The previous reviewer who questioned why they were speaking English in France- they weren't. To the boys (and we English readers), it seems they are speaking English, but to everyone else they are speaking French. One of the boys asked the same question in one of the chapters and D'artagnon confusedly told him they were speaking French.… (altro)
