Kingsley M. Bray

This was my fourth Crazy Horse biography and is by far the most detailed and well researched of the four. If you are looking for the facts, as well as they can be ascertained at this point, this is the book for you. If you are looking for a book on Crazy Horse that reads more like a romanticized hero novel then you should also read Mari Sandoz or some of the other authors out there. For me, it is good to see the human side of the legend, and to learn more about the other life challenges he faced besides the great battles and the loss of his way of life, country, and life.
