Alex Tibideaux was summoned to her Grandmother's house in New Orleans. While there they went to tour the old Dalton plantation. Alex touched a painting of a woman who looked just like her. She was thrown back to 1878. She met and fell in love with Trey Dalton. I loved the story and the characters in this book. Aunt Rose with the thumping cane, a very loveable person. Fluerette, a young black servant, who did not understand why Alex treated her like a friend. Finally handsome Trey, a man every woman wants. Alex dealing with a corset and a bustle, no modern convinences, plus the southern-belle era made this a wonderful romantic read.… (altro)
