Boyd Brent

I love books that make me laugh out loud and that is what DIARY OF A SUPERHERO KID by Boyd Brent did. He captured Freddie so well that it made me think of the old Warner Brother cartoons of Ralphie in his Walter Mitty persona. Freddie was the same way. He is funny as he becomes a superhero. I loved his “Kryptonite.” His name and costume may leave something to be desired but he works it. He even gets his sidekick. Two less likely superheroes may never be met. The have their adversary in Freddie’s next door neighbor, Jessica, who will keep them in reality. What a good group of characters. I cannot wait to read the next diary.… (altro)
