This short and sweet version of Cinderella is a book that I believe would be very useful to readers in many ways. Not only does this book tell the true story of Cinderella, but it is also a bilingual book and is written in Spanish. The author does a great job sticking to the original story, as Cinderella is treated badly by her stepmother and stepsister, and goes to three different balls, and loses her shoe on the last night. What makes this book great, though, is that the text in this book is simple enough for language learning students to comprehend. I also love that this version of the story follows the original tale, rather than sugar-coating the story like Disney has. I highly recommend this story to any student learning to read, as well as learning the true story of Cinderella.… (altro)
