1. Summary - This book goes over 12 paintings and each pages goes over a few questions over the painting and what we could be looking for to give us an insight as to what the artist is trying to communicate to us. Another section that is gone over about each painting is a little background on the artist and some of how they came to a decision on what to paint/why, where they got started painting or realized they wanted to become an artist.

2. Personal Reaction - I thought this book was informative and presented these pieces of art in a neat way. I don't know that this book would be good for kids to read alone.

3. Extension Ideas -
1. I would use this book as an aid to me if I were going over some of these pieces in class. It could give me some background to share with the students and questions to discuss.
2. I could use this book as extended reading for some students but I honestly don't know of a circumstance that I would give this book to a student unless they picked it up, I wouldn't discourage any child from reading a book like this.… (altro)
