So I love a reconciliation marriage, it's my favourite genre.
I was hoping the Hero saw her and really wanted to try to work it out but the only reason he gets in touch is because there has been a mistake in the filing of the divorce and he wants an arrangement to look like a family man so his neighbour will agree to sell him his land.
This left a bad taste in my mouth, esp when I read the neighbor's description of said 'Hero'

'You, on the other hand, are notorious for your one-night stands and randy behavior'

This compares to the heroine who has only just started dating, after a 7 year separation, and she describes it as not even getting through the bedroom door.

One thing I will say is the Hero doesn't claim to still love the heroine while whoring around he's just trying to get lost, away from the pain of the traumatic experience that lead to the breakup of his marriage.

And that said when he sees her again he does struggle with his feelings for her but he constantly lies and puts on a front.

It was a good story, dealt with the issue of miscarriage, the feelings of loss and esp being very young so not dealing with the grief well.

I did wish she held out a bit longer and hadn't jumped back into bed with him so soon.
Also her 'boyfriend' who she has zero chemistry with, wasn't very nice and is awful to her, which I thought was kind of a shame, so it was easier for her to reconnect with the husband.

No cheating once they reunite though other women for the Hero during long separation.
No intimate scenes with anyone other than the Hero and heroine.
Good secondary characters.
