An adventure into the courts of the past, rich in illumimations, intricate in the art of another world
Color photographs of showing architecture, artifacts, relics, etc from 1000 years of Islam from the Prophet Muhammad to the early 7th centuries from different countries.
A great reference book. This is an excellent and extensive review of the subject. Though well illustrated, this book would have benefited greatly if it was produced in a larger (coffee table book) format. The text illustrations are small and squeezed into the page borders.
