Excellent introduction to computational semantics. Blackburn and Bos give a thorough overview of the use of first order logic for representating meaning in natural language, touching on issues such as theorem proving, model building, hole semantics, and the lambda calculus. The theoretical discussion is accompanied by implementations in Prolog, which is helpful but can also be skipped if you don't feel like typing along as you read.
