Bruce C. Birch

From the start I liked Bruce Birch’s Let Justice Role Down. He gives solid reasons for why this book is important for both theology and ethics. He honestly examines the Old Testament and practically applies the theoretical insights from narrative theology (seen in Frei, McClendon, and Hauerwas) to the Old Testament. I thought it was great. For me personally, it was an opportunity to hear afresh the worldview of the Bible (specifically the OT) and in a sense to rebuild broken aspects of my faith.… (altro)
