Earth, Sky, Wet, Dry: A Book of Nature Opposites has very few words. But, where the book lacks in words it makes up in illustrations. I liked looking at the pages and comparing the detailed illustrations. It seems liked two totally different worlds. My favorite page was "big and small." The big page showed a giant squirrel and the small page showed an itty bitty bug. If you did not look close enough you might miss it. I think a classroom with younger students would love finding the opposite pictures. They would also be able to sound out each word. This book is a great mentor text for a science lesson. I would challenge my class to create their own opposite nature book with a partner.… (altro)
