Didn't Deliver For Some Reason: Bought this book for my husband who requested it. After reading about half, he gave up and decided it just wasn't the story he hoped it would be. I read it all and agree it missed the mark for me too. Perhaps we were looking for more sordid gossip, but some of the anecdotes were dull and the celebrities just bland. Leno seemed above the fray for the most part and came across almost detached in certain places. A good amount of detail on the process of choosing and booking guests for the show. Of course, the book provided a chronology of Leno's ups and downs with NBC and his ongoing ratings wars with Letterman and O'Brien. In the last third of the book, the author turns up the nastiness with Letterman, certain Leno staffers and TV execs. Overall, we were underwhelmed with Behind the Curtain.… (altro)
