I loved the layout of this book. Its uncluttered pages with sidebars and simple clip art made it visually appealing and well-organized in appearance. The book presents facts in a way that teens will tune in rather than rebel against. Before I read the book, my 17 year old read it, and she found the information presented within both interesting and timely. It reads like a big sister explaining the facts of skin to a younger sister, complete with jokes and asides between the two of them. I have three daughters and they talk amongst themselves like this all the time! This is a book they'll all have to read.… (altro)

written for a teen audience this book gives accurate information in an easy to read format. The chapters give readers a basic understanding of such topics as acne, skin type, hair removal, make-up basics and such. Even as a 39 year old I learned new information about skin care and the reasons why. I enjoyed the read and thought it would be an valuable read for a teenage girl. The only chapter I found disappointing was the chapter on make-up. It was more about the types of make-up and their costs and almost no information about applying make-up correctly. All in all, I found this book to be visually appealing, and helpful for a teen audience.… (altro)
