4466. In the Ring The Trials of a Washington Lawyer, by Robert S. Bennett (read 1 Aug 2008) This is a memoir filled with interesting accounts of the author's great career as a lawyer, and emphasizing his successes, of which he has had many. He admonishes lawyers never to turn in a paper to a judge with grammatical errors or misspellings, but on page 17 of his book he says "alumni is active and raise substantial sums" and on page 23 he says his brother Bill "is discrete, and told me very little." All in all though, it is a fun book to read and what he has to say is sound and admirable.… (altro)
