This book is written, illustrated, and put together by the author. It's a Ojibwe tale about how Waboseg (Rabbits) got their long ears. It also explains the importance of sharing and not taking more than we need. I had never heard of the type of artwork used to create the images in this book. Why they're by no means as elaborate as many of the picture books that children are accustomed to, it's an important book which preserves an Ojibwe story as well as some vocabulary.
