Lura Beam

Up and down. The begining was interesting but the middle was fairly dragging, reading about the town vs. hamlet tax rates was not exciting. It improved when real people and events were discussed. It's funny how anyone's description of the 'good old days' sounds the same no matter what time is 'Now' versus 'Back Then.' Although this way of life is now gone, it seems that it was always changing. Interesting to read, though.
