This is a great book for anyone who wants to know all there is about elements that are in the periodic table. Keep in mind though, the book doesn't talk about all the elements but does touch on 60 plus elements that are considered more common.

This book is broken down into pages where each element is introduced and talked about, even represented by an anime-style character. They talk specifically about the element's symbol, atomic number, weight, color, standard state, and classifications. They even go so far as to talk about its qualities and uses, when it was first discovered, what its first known use was, density, melting, and boiling point. This information was great and made it more interesting than simply looking at the periodic table, which was also available as a foldout in the book.

I loved this because it made it more interesting to read. It is also great for visual learners with nice illustrations. It was a fun way to learn more about the periodic table and I think that students will love it.… (altro)
