Daniel Webster, by Irving H. Bartlett (read 28 Oct 1978) This book is not a very full biography of Webster, being only 295 pages. The book does not portray Webster in a very good light, and I think not very highly of him. He drank too much, his morals left much to be desired, his attitude to money paid to him did not live up to present standards. All in all, I can admire only his oratory.
