Adam T. Barr

How should people and churches faithfully engage the gospel of Jesus Christ in a culture that is awash with the normalization of homosexuality? That is the question that is answered by pastors Adam Barr and Ron Citlau in Compassion Without Compromise. Barr and Citlau both serve as pastors of congregation lying within the Reformed tradition and they readily affirm the primacy of scripture in speaking truthfully to all of life. Believing that the Good News of Jesus can change any life, and that it should change the lives of those who have faith in Jesus, they work through the basic issues of Gospel witness when applied to homosexuality. Their book is written in a very readable and accessible style, and it bears the evidence of much personal experience in being compassionate towards those who hold differing views on homosexuality without compromising on the claims of Jesus towards all who follow Him as disciples.
