Using So.CA available ingredients makes this one a plus for us. Easy to follow with historical notes in the wide sidebars. Sidebars leave lots of room for variations and other notes. Variety from entrees, appetizers, beverages, ingredients is well balanced. Be nice to have pictures of dishes beyond chapter intros and/or nutrition info
A "4" only because there aren't any pictures. But WOW! These are truly fabulous recipes. I've tried out a few.. from quiche to crepes, and they're remarkable! 8)
