This is a slim pamphlet whose contents is described by its full title. Topics covered include childhood, have good luck --avoid bad luck, folk medicine and old superstitions, habits in dressing and sewing, weather forecasting, special days and seasons, cooking, baking and planting, care of the teeth, dreams and what they mean, witches and our own superstitions, getting a future husband, sex-lore and prenatal influences, death and how to circumvent it, omens about death and funerals, moving or flitting day, cattle deaths, lynching and witchcraft, and a brief bibliography. From the Mennonites, additional branches are shown, including the Amish.
