Clever mix of litrpg with a bit of space adventure.
The MC is walking unconventional paths and is rewarded for this.
Makes a lot of fun. Definitely worth reading.

Things I liked:
* the basic character premise (you take a survey and the game company matches you with a character race and class)
* the feel of the game itself - I'd play it if there was a real single-player option
* the character the MC gets assigned is a goblin herbalist (sounds like an interesting twist, right?)

Things I didn't like:
* the MC does very little as an herbalist (so much for it being an interesting twist)
* the actual plot of the book, especially the "real world" stuff
* the lack of any difficulty the MC faced in the quests
* the lack of any difficulty from the MC being a vampire
* the way the 14-year-old girl acted and spoke like she was decades older than 14
* the writing style
* the way this game company which knows everything else didn't do a background check to figure out that the MC had already tried the game once before, and even though this is supposed to be a one-person-one-character game he got to start over again with the new character assigned to him
* the ending challenge has even less difficulty than the one at the beginning of the book
* the MC can use his herbalist skills (remember, the skills he uses very minimally) to create exactly the potions he needs (which look like high-level potions)

As you can guess, in my opinion this was a good premise with a very poor execution.

The story goes that the rich and powerful are all a bunch of roleplayers who got pissed of the plebs weren't taking games seriously so they came together to make a secret game for hardcore roleplayers. That's where our protagonist comes in, one of the rich wants someone to play on his account because he's embarrassingly bad at the game. From there on out it's no longer a litrpg, it's just a shitty scifi novel! The main character is ingame 24/7, everyone takes the roleplaying really really seriously and the only game element that really different it from a normal scifi book is the reputation meter.
As such this book is just a scifi book with bad science, meh plot and not very good characters, with the litrpg trope of not having a real ending thrown in.
