Meh. Conspiracy end of the world stuff. Not interesting.
A bunch of women are apparently descendants of the original Lilleth. They've been keeping track of the Nailem - Angels who Lilleth tempted, and so fell to earth. These angels have got bored with earthly living as their lilleth-alikes aren't the same any more, and so want to re-open the door to heaven. Forcibly, by abducting enough of the Daughters. Some of the Daughters work in the (Israeli) police, and apparently have managed to get a Soothsayer dept established, and so they get dragged into the case of the first abduction, and find links to the others.
It may be of interest to people who care more about religion (specifically jewish history?) than I do, but I found it boring mixed up with mysticism and a lack of consequence, choice or plot.… (altro)
