I'm interested in colonial cultures in Africa, so I found it fascinating. The writing was not very polished, however, and it definitely read as an amateur writer reflects on a much loved godfather.

Anyone looking for a good adventure biography should read this. Baron Bror von Blixen was a guy that lived life to the fullest. His African adventures and his love affairs are fascinating to read about. Recommended!
