Jesus is alive is written in rhyme and could easily be put to a tune that is sung with young children. This book teaches about the love of Jesus to the people of earth, but looking carefully you will also see the Easter story depicted. The colourful, happy illustrations portray children of many different cultures participating in springtime activities with happy faces and fun interactions. The author has inserted tiny squared illustrations of the Easter story (palm branches, praying in Gethsemene, the empty tomb etc.) These added mini pictures give parents an opportunity to relate the Bible story of Easter to their children. This would also be a great book to use with the younger children in a Christian school or Church school. A great addition to the family library of Christian families as well as churches and Christian schools. The publisher generously provided me with a copy of this book via Netgalley.
